Letter from the founder
A Personal Note from the Founder and Music Director
ICOA is four years old and this is our most exciting season yet! Our gala concert, “New World, New Beginning“ in March 2018, includes an exciting world premiere of world renowned composer, Bruce Adolphe, inspired by Dvorak’s New World Symphony, and visual artists James Rouvelle and Lili Maya. This summer, ICOA will embark on our first international tour of fifteen cities in China.
ICOA represents the spirit of New York City’s metropolis: a community of diverse artists who have a mutual passion in creating quality classical music. We continually seek to expand our music-making community, and this season is no different. ICOA is thrilled to welcome guest artists into our musical family, including the Concertmaster of the London Philharmonic, the Principal Violist of the Berlin Philharmoniker and the violinist of Emerson Quartet.
As the Founder and Music Director of ICOA, I would like to humbly express my gratitude to each and everyone of you! We believe that classical music will be rightfully passed on generation after generation, and we hope you will join us in creating meaningful impact through the arts.
